Overview

Free Tablet Finder ("we," "us," or "this site") is an independent, informational directory. This policy explains what happens to information when you visit the site, use the Finder tool, or contact us. We built the site to need as little of your data as possible, and this policy reflects that.

What we collect

The Finder tool, guides, and program pages are plain informational pages — you can browse and search all of them without creating an account or submitting any personal information.

The one place you can enter information is the Contact page. That form does not transmit your message to a server we operate: submitting it opens your own email application with the message pre-filled, addressed to hello@freetabletfinder.com. If you then send that email, we receive whatever your email provider sends (your name, email address, and message), the same as any other email.

As of this writing, we do not run analytics scripts, advertising trackers, or third-party tracking cookies on this site.

Bookmarked programs (local storage)

The Finder tool lets you "bookmark" programs so you can find them again. Bookmarks are saved using your browser's local storage, directly on your device. They are never sent to us and we cannot see them. Clearing your browser's site data, using a different browser, or using private/incognito mode will remove them.

Third-party resources

Pages on this site load fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). Loading a font makes a request to Google's servers, which — like any web request — can see the requesting device's IP address. This is standard behavior for any site using Google Fonts and is governed by Google's own privacy policy.

Every program, provider, and organization listing links out to that organization's own official website so you can apply directly. Once you leave Free Tablet Finder, that organization's own privacy policy applies, not ours. We encourage you to review it before submitting any information.

We don't sell information

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information, because we do not collect enough of it to sell in the first place. If that ever changes, we will update this policy first.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your choices

• Clear bookmarks or other local data any time through your browser's settings.
• Block third-party font requests with a browser extension if you prefer — the site will still function, just with a system font instead.
• Email hello@freetabletfinder.com with any question about this policy or a request related to information you've sent us.

Changes to this policy

If we change what this site collects — for example, by adding analytics — we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
