Overview
Free Geek refurbishes donated technology and distributes it free to people in the Portland area. Programs include Plug into Portland for K-12 students in Clackamas, Multnomah, and Washington counties and Welcome to Computers for adults, which pairs a free computer with basic skills training and tech support.
Eligibility requirements
- Household income at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines, or experiencing homelessness/unstable housing
- Plug into Portland: K-12 students in Clackamas, Multnomah, or Washington County
